FAA Expands Drone Airspace Authorization Program
Today the 3rd Annual UAS Symposium was kicked off in Baltimore, Maryland as Acting Administrator Dan Elwell announced the Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) is expanding tests of an automated system that will ultimately provide near real-time processing of airspace authorization requests for unmanned aircraft (UAS) operators nationwide.
Low U.S. natgas stocks, pipe delays may hamper exports to Mexico
Feb 12 (Reuters) – Unusually low U.S. natural gas inventories and delays in new cross-border pipeline capacity could slow exports this year to Mexico, which is heavily dependent on its northern neighbor for the fuel, analysts said on Monday.
US will sell off 100 million barrels of oil in the next month
Congress early Friday approved a two-year budget agreement which mandates the sale of 100 million barrels of crude oil from the Strategic Petroleum Reserve within a decade and authorizes sales of another $350 million of government-owned crude this fiscal year.
